Godkiller by Hannah Kaner

At the start, I found an editing issue and was concerned. By page 10, I had a red pen at the ready. By page 67, I decided I was no longer going to read to evaluate the story. Rather I will be reviewing how many errors the editor and beta readers missed. This will be the first novel that I will be redlining.

I did manage to finally finish the novel and it ends with little to nothing truly resolved. In fact, the ending was a let down in many ways. While I understand the need to leave something to entice then readers into purchasing the next novel, this ending felt as if nothing had changed from the beginning of the novel to the end.

I would recommend this novel only as a tool to teach writers what not to do. It would even provide a demonstration on how individual line construction can detract and pull a reader out of the narration if done poorly.
